Description:

The TDA4810 is designed as monolithic integrated circuit for sync processing in monochrome and colour monitors, applicable for all commonly used graphic cards. The flexible sync separator handles different sync signals of either polarity over a wide amplitude range.

It has thirteen features. (1)Sync separator with AC-coupled and DC-coupled inputs for signals of nearly all existing sync sources. (2)Amplitude dependent sync slicing. (3)Automatic sync polarity correction. (4)Wide horizontal frequency range. (5)Arificial sync generator for sync pulse width independent operation. (6)Short vertical integration time. (7)Vertical/ composite sync output signal selectable. (8)Super sandcastle pulse generator. (9)Two phase loops (PLL1, PLL2) to achieve excellent sync-locking and horizontal picture shift. (10)Horizontal output stage optimized for bipolar and darlington deflection transistors. (11)Protection circuits against too low supply voltage and excessive EHT (X-ray protection). (12)Voltage stabilizer with excellent ripple rejection. (13)Number of external components depend on the requirements and realized features. That are all the main features.

Some absolute maximum ratings have been concluded into several points as follow. (1)Its supply voltage (pin 2) would be 16V. (2)Its supply voltage (pin 3) would be 16V. (3)Its input voltage would be from -0.5V to 8V. (4)Its supply current for horizontal output would be 1.0A. (5)Its horizontal output current would be max +200mA. (6)Its flyback input current would be max +/-10mA. (7)Its vertical sync output current would be max -10mA. (8)Its buffer output current would be max +/-10mA. (9)Its total power dissipation would be 1.2W. (10)Its storage temperature range wouldbe from -25°C to 150°C. (11)Its operating ambient temperature range would be from 0°C to 70°C. (12)Its electrostatic handing for all pins would be +/-300V. It should be noted that stresses above those listed in absolute maximum ratings may cause permanent damage to device. And so on.
