Description:
The IR2C23 is a 6-circuit driver IC which can be used for driving printer, relays, LEDs and lamps. The strobe pin enables all circuits to cut off without external transistors. Clamping diodes protect output transistors from counter electromotive force. There are some features as follows. First is with strobe pin. The second is with clamping diodes. Then is output breakdown voltage BVCEO=20 V (MAX). Next is output current which is 320 m (MAX). The last one is 16-pin dual-in-line package.
What comes next is about the absolute maximum ratings. The VCC (supply voltage) is 10 V. The VIN (input voltage) is from -25 to +20 V. The IOUT (output current) is 320 mA for each circuit. The BVCEO (output breakdown voltage) is 20 V. The VIN STB (strobe input voltage) is 2 V. The VR (clamp diode reverse voltage) is 20 V for clamp diode. The Isurge (clamp diode surge current) is 320 mA. The PD (power dissipation) is 1470 mW at Ta≦25℃. The Topr (operating temperature) is from -20 to +75℃. The Tstg (storage temperature) is from -55 to +150℃.
The following is about the recommended operating conditions. The minimum VCC (supply voltage) is 3 V and the maximum is 8 V. The maximum VCEO (output voltage) is 20 V. The maximum IOUT (output current) is 300 mA at VCC=6.5 V, at 25% duty or less and 150 mA at VCC=6.5 V, at 65% duty or less. The minimum VIH (input high voltage) is 5 V at IOUT=150 mA and 7 V at IOUT=300 mA. The maximum VIL (input low voltage) is 1 V at IOUT(Leak)=50 μA. The minimum VIH STB (strobe input high voltage) is 2.4 V for strobe pin. The maximum VIL STB (strobe input low voltage) is 0.4 V for strobe pin. | |
