Description:
The AQV214 is one member of the photoMOS relays that can be used in data communication equipment, computer, high-speed inspection machines and telephone equipment. Features of the AQV214 are:(1)control with low-level input signals;(2)controls various types of loads such as relays, motors, lamps and solenoids;(3)controls low-level analog signals;(4)optical coupling for extremely high isolation;(5)eliminates the need for a counter electromotive force protection diode in the drive circuits on the input side;(6)stable on resistance;(7)low-level off state leakage current;(8)eliminates the need for a power supply to drive the power MOSFET;(9)low thermal electromotive force (Approx. 1 mV).
The absolute maximum ratings of the AQV214A can be summarized as:(1)LED forward current:50 mA;(2)LED reverse voltage:3 V;(3)peak forward current:1 A;(4)power dissipation:75 mW;(5)load voltage (peak AC):400 V;(6)peak load current:0.3 A;(7)power dissipation:500 mW;(8)total power dissipation:550 mW;(9)I/O isolation voltage:1,500 V AC;(10)operating temperature:-40 °C to +85°C.
