Description:

The AD2S44 series are 14-bit dual channel, continuous tracking synchro/resolver-to-digital converters. The typical applications include gimbal/gyro control systems, robotics, engine controllers, coordinate conversion, military servo control systems, fire control systems, avionic systems, antenna monitoring and CNC machine tooling.

There are some features as follows. First is low cost/channel. The second is 32-pin DIL hybrid package. Then is 2.6 arc minute accuracy. Next is 14-bit resolution. The fifth is built-in test. The sixth is independent reference inputs. The last one is high tracking rate.

What comes next is about the absolute maximum ratings. The +VS to GND is +17.25 V dc. The -VS to GND is -17.25 V dc. The maximum any logic input to GND is +6.0 Vdc and the minimum is -0.4 V dc. The maximum junction temperature is +150℃. The S1, S2, S3, S4 (line to line) is ±600 V dc when 90 V option, ±160 V dc when 26 V option, ±80 V dc when 11.8 V option and ±14 V dc when 2 V option. The S1, S2, S3, S4 to GND is ±600 V dc when 90 V option, ±160 V dc when 26 V option, ±80 V dc when 11.8 V option and ±14 V dc when 2 V option. The RHI to RLO is ±600 V dc when 26 V, 115 V option and ±50 V dc when 2 V, 11.8 V option. The RHI to RLO to GND is ±600 V dc when 26 V, 115 V option and ±50 V dc when 2 V, 11.8 V option. The storage temperature is from -65 to +150℃. The operating temperature is from -55 to +125℃.
