Description:
The sylvania types 6EH5,12EH5,25EH5 and 50EH5 are miniature power pentodes designed for service as audio power amplifiers.Type 12EH5 differs from the others in that it is controlled for heater warm-up time and has a higher heatercathode voltage rating.
The 6EH5,12EH5,25EH5 and 50EH5 has some maximum ratings(design center values).The plate voltage is 135 volts.The grid NO.2 voltage is 117 volts.The grid NO.1 voltage is 0 volts.The plate dissipation is 5 watts.The grid NO.2 dissipation is 1.75 watts.The grid NO.2 circuit resistance:Fixed bias is 0.1 megohm.Cathode bias is 0.5 megohm.
The 6EH5,12EH5,25EH5 and 50EH5 has some characteristics and typical operation.The plate voltage is 110 volts.The grid NO.2 voltage is 115 volts.The cathode resistor is 62 ohms.The peak AF grid NO.1 voltage is 3 volts.The zero-signal plate current is 42 Ma.The maximum signal plate current is 42 Ma.The zero signal grid No.2 current is 11.5 Ma.The maximum signal grid No.2 current is 14.5 Ma.The transconductance is 14600 μmhos.The plate resistance (approx) is 11000 ohms.The load resistance is 3000 ohms.The maximum signal power output is 1.4 watts.The total harmonic distortion is 7 percent. | |
