Description:
3PF8 is a type of axial leaded hermetically sealed high voltage fase rectifier diode which has five unique features: The first one is low reverse recovery time. The second one is avalanche capability. The third one is glass passivated for hermetic sealing. The forth one is low switching losses. The fifth one is soft,non-snap off, recovery charactersitics.
There are some absolute maximum ratings about it(@25℃ unless otherwise noted). Working reverse voltage(VRWM) is 800 W. Repetitive reverse voltage(VRRM) is 800 V. Surge reverse voltage(VRSM) is 900 V. Average forward current(IF(AV) ) is 3.25 A(@55℃,lead length 0.375"). Non-Repetitive surge current(IFSM) is 76 A(tp is 8.3mS,@VR and Tjmax).Storage temperature range(TSTG) is -65℃ to +175℃. Operating temperature range(TOP) is -65℃ to +175℃.Othewise, there are also some electrical charactersitics about it(@25℃ unless otherwise noted).Average forward current max(pcb mounted;Ta is 55℃)(IF(AV) ) is 1.4 A for sine wave and is 1.50 A for square wave(d is 0.5).Average forward current max(TL is 55℃ ;L is 3/8")(IF(AV) ) is 3.10 A for sine wave and is 3.25 A for square wave. I2t for fusing(t is 8.3mS)max(I2t) is 24 A2S. Forward voltage drop max(@IF is 3.0 A , Tj is 25℃)(VF) is 1.3 V.Reverse current max(IR) is 1.0 uA(@VRWM,Tj is 25℃). Reverse recovery time max(trr) is 300 nS(0.5 A IF,1.0 A IR,recovers to 0.25 A IRR).Junction capacitance typ(Cj) is 30 pF(@ VR is 5 V and f is 1 MHz). | |
