Description:
The 15AF11 is a compaction containing a high-mu triode,a medium-mu triode,and a sharp-cutoff pentode.The high-mu triode is intended for AGC keyer service,the medium-mu triode for sync separator service,and the pentode for video amplifier service.Except for heater characteristics and ratings,the 15AF11 is identical to the 6AF11.
The 15AF11 has some electricals.The heater characteristics and ratings:Heater voltage,AC or DC is 14.7 volts.Heater current is 0.45±0.03 Amperes.Heater warm-up time,average is 11 seconds.
The 15AF11 has 3 notes.The first one is heater voltage for bogey tube at if=0.45 amperes.The second one is the equipment designer should design the equipment so that current is centered at the specified bogey value,with heater supply variations retricted to maintain heater current within the specified tolerance.The third one is the time required for the voltage across the heater to reach 80 percent of the bogey value after applying 4 times the bogey heater voltage to a circuit consisting of the tube heater in series with a resistance equal to 3 time the bogey heater voltage divided by the bogey heater current. | |
